[!IMPORTANT] Note: Never sacrifice full range of motion, controlled eccentrics, or standard form to chase the next weight plate. A rep only counts in your logbook if you completed it 100% unassisted with zero form breakdown.
Smith machine weights are counted without including the weight of the Smith machine bar/carriage (plate weight only).

Exercise Selection Principles & Trade-offs
- Setup Energy Waste: Prioritize movements with minimal setup friction and rapid transitions (pin-loaded stacks, dedicated stations, guided levers) to maintain workout tempo and preserve energy for working sets.
- Hypertrophy Efficiency: Favor high external stability so maximum neural drive and mechanical tension are directed straight into the target muscle rather than bottlenecked by balance or stabilizer fatigue.
- Failure Safety: Design movements for spotter-free independence, allowing sets to be taken safely to true muscular failure (0 RIR) and beyond without risk of injury.
- Anti-Cheating Constraint: Enforce mechanical constraints (e.g., seated back support, chest pads) that eliminate torso swing and momentum, ensuring every rep meets strict logbook standards without secondary muscle compensation.
- Lifetime Ceilings & Longevity Cap: Target loads represent permanent lifetime caps engineered for joint and structural preservation. Once a target is met (✅), never increase the load; freeze the weight permanently and shift focus to execution quality, cadence, and capacity maintenance to avoid diminishing returns and injury risk.
Progressive Overload Protocol
- Pick a load where you can hit 10 reps on Set 1 unassisted.
- Stop all sets when you hit 0 RIR unassisted (e.g., 10, 8, 7).
- Keep the weight identical each week until you hit 10–12 reps on all 3 sets unassisted (10, 10, 10).
- Only then increase load by the smallest possible increment in your next session.

Meditations
"Hey you are really smart, act like it. Make the best discion you could possibly make given the knowledge you have. It'd be a shame if your intelect went to waste.: Perfect play"
"Move fast, slow is smooth, smoooth is fast"
"Have agency, move fast"
"Stay guard on the information that enters you brain garbbage in garbbage out"
Legend:
Titles & Mitgations are invariants:
1. General Meditations
1.1 Show up every day.
1.2 Show up no matter what.
In sickness and in health, come hell or high water, get to work.
1.3 Stay on the job all day.
Your mind may wander, but your body remain at the wheel.
1.4 Do not take failure or success personal.
Come sucuess come failure we're not fazed by this we keep working.
1.5 Get things done, do not give excuses:
No matter how challenging, I will figure things out, I will solve problems no matter how difficult or die trying.
1.6. Quit drinking alchohol
"The is not safe amount of alcohol" WHO
1.7 Engage strategically only on issues in your local sphere of influence.
You have legal, civic and social responsibilities. Engage with issues strategically such as using incentive engineering. rather than complaining on X
- Example: Sponsoring legislation rather than arguing on X.
1.8. The content you consume shape your thoughts which shape your actions.
Keep guard of your mind at all times. Practice mindfulness.
1.9 Beware of the incentives you have and how they are influencing you.
Your friends/environment have an influence on you; beware of this influence.
- Mitgations:
- Avoid certain kinds of people. Awful people.
- Avoid certain locations.
- Your place is your home office. Never let people know your place. Partying outside of your place.
1.10 Beware of exteranl incentives.
Beware of incentives others explicitly or implicitly impose upon you: Give yourself good incentives. Hold the right bags
1.11 Honor your "scar tissue" — never relearn the same painful lesson:
Theoretical awareness tells you a trap exists; visceral, experiential friction builds the instinct to avoid stepping in it. Use past failures as non-negotiable rules rather than repeating the cycle.
1.12 Cognitive Defense & Idea Inception (The Mind as an Attack Surface)
Every raw input is an attempt to seed a thought, hijack dopamine(thirst traps), or provoke outrage(social media). Consumed content acts like code execution in your brain—once ingested, the idea takes root (Inception effect):
- Mitigations:
- Default-Closed Ingress: Block or eliminate broadcast channels at the network/app level rather than relying on willpower to resist them
- Pull, Never Push: Ingest data strictly on-demand (e.g., search, curated RSS, LLM summaries), never from algorithmic feeds.
- Treat Emotional Spikes as Payloads: If a post triggers instant lust, envy, or outrage, recognize it as an active cognitive intrusion and sever the source.
1.13 Prevent Cognitive Model Collapse & Purge Dead Info (Mind Sovereignty):
Information is infinite; consuming it passively leads to cognitive model collapse and echo chambers insulated from reality. Maintain epistemic sovereignty through immediate empirical friction:
- Mitigation:
- Dialectical Steel-Manning: Train your biological neural net to simulate and defend opposing viewpoints. If you cannot steelman the opposing case, your beliefs are dogmas rather than verified models.
- Falsifiable Hypotheses & Reality Loops: Transform consumed data into testable hypotheses, execute them against reality (shipped code, audits, markets), and demand instant feedback. Reality is the ultimate loss function.
- Dead vs. Actionable Information: Ingest knowledge strictly on-demand to navigate active, immediate objectives. Reject "dead info" that lacks an execution target.
1.14 Heuristics are Lossy Compressions (Accept the 10% Failure Rate).
These rules optimize for 10x execution velocity, not 100% edge-case perfection. Accept their inherent blind spots during execution; audit and calibrate them only during quarterly reviews or weekend entropy briefs.
2. Techical Meditations
2.1. Beware Parasitic Ideas & The Illusion of the Perfect Tool:
Beware of frequently recurring, distracting ideas that waste time and effort without yielding any lessons from the pain they cause.
-
Example:
- The persistent belief that there is a "better" IDE or tool_ out there that will seamlessly solve my friction. Every IDE is buggy. There are trade-offs to every choice. I do not want to be in the business of maintaining my own IDE source code or configuration files. The grass is greener where I water it.
- Widening your scope (e.g., build browser, build IDE, react)
- Open vs Closed source strategy: Should I open source BWC?
- The recurrent urge to build a custom LSP/parser for
.logtrace files.
-
Mitgation:
- Stick to your tech stack: (OS: Ubuntu, Editor: Zed Editor, Theme: Dark Mode, Git: LazyGit, Blockchain: Solidity, LLM: Gemini, Antigravity CLI, FrontEnd: Mdbook). Accept Dark Mode as the settled default; stop chasing theme parity or light mode rabbit holes. Accept the trade-offs of these tools; winning means moving at velocity without compromising understanding.
- Delete information so you do not keep returning to it. Delete contacts you keep returning to: never look back lest you become a pillar of salt.
- Profitability is the reward function. Orient yourself agaist money made not LOC shipped.
- Open Source: Snippets/gists/Twitter commentary: Open source (Tweet a day, article a month). Closed Source: BWC/SeanOS: Local-first:
- Trace navigation: Rely on in-place
;pathlabeling, Zed's search preview, and native level folding.
2.2 Beware Information cascade:
-
Example:
- Going through twitter creates a 30-day to-do list with all this content.
- Illusion of relevance: Consuming raw streams (e.g., YouTube) disguises adjacent rabbit holes as productive prerequisites, derailing goals.
-
Mitigation:
- Be mindfull of information cascades. Allocate fixed time slots for info.
- Have a fixed time slot for Consuming raw feeds. Carefull not to generate todo's from them.
2.3 Beware of Optimization cascade:
Where one optimization (e.g., keybindings) balloons into building a syntax highlighter for log files with light/dark modes.
Constant optimization gets to a point of diminishing returns.
- Mitigations:
- Accept Dark Mode as the settled default across the entire stack. Stop fighting theme friction or building light mode variants.
- Re-evaluate your routine quarterly. Otherwise stick to your routine.
- Make small incremental changes not fundamental shifts. Burnning boats.
2.4 Avoid Cognitive Debt & Do Not Outsource Understanding:
You can outsource thinking, but you cannot outsource your Understanding. Delegating comprehension to AI creates "cognitive debt" a black box where you lose the mental model required to reason about your own systems. and contribute meaningfully
Hypothesis: Velocity/Speed of execution could be the moat in age of AI. You maintain velocity by maintaining uderstanding of the product you're shipping and maintain the ability to contribute meaningfull. Slow is smooth smooth is fast.
-
Example:
-
Just hit a wall and reverted an entire week worth of progress. After the working with the codebase generate so much friction. Due to gaps in knowledge of how everything was working.
-
AI creates the dangerous illusion that I can competently access areas previously beyond my skill level, tempting me to unspecialize.
-
-
Mitigations:
- Do not generate thousands of LOC creating cognitive debt. Generate one function at time, understand it, then move on. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
- Treat tokens as scarce resources that have alternative uses. Economize.
- Keep your focus narrow. Move smoothly.
- Shipping small incremental changes you understand.
- Reviewing your product. Frequently
- Keeping your product lean.
- Simplifying your product.
- Carefull with adding stuff. features to yourlife. Delete by default.
- Do not automate open-ended, unverifiable domains (e.g., news or intel briefs). Without a deterministic verification loop, auditing what AI silently omitted or distorted requires re-doing the manual work.
Social Engineering Weakness Classification (SEWC)
Motivation
Humans are the sum of the incentives they face. Humans have a biological drive to selfishly extract resources. To get something from a human you have to cater to his base needs (Maslow). While providing a Plausible Pretext the re-frame the targets compliace as an act of virtue.
SEWC 1: Maslow’s
SEWC 1.1: Physiological
Needs: Air, food, water, shelter, sex, sleep.
- Resource Provisioning: Covertly provide immediate resource relief.
- The Ben Franklin Effect: Ask for little favour, Owe the person you've provide favour to.
- Future Pacing: Allude to shared events 3–6 months out, to lock the target into a projected shared reality.
- Asset Entanglement: Create lock-in via shared secrets or projects.
- Alternate between high-intensity affection and total silence to create dopamine-driven compliance.
- Deploy "Love Bombs" (intense intimacy) when the target attempts to detach, resetting their tolerance threshold.
- Set boundaries early: Always check people when the cross boundaries.
- Achieve Sovereignty: Neutralize Sovereignty: Identify and dismantle the target's self-sufficiency. Create financial or logistical dependency.
- Set a budget: Exceed the "Black Tax": Ensure the target's assistance requirements exceed their set budget, forcing them into a deficit state.
- Intellectual Dazzle Using jargon and complex arguments to mask malicious intent or lack of substance. Moral Consequentialism: Use "greater good" logic to justify the target's compliance in harmful actions. Mitigation: (1. Choose location wisely. 2. Hold the right bags. 3. Give yourself good incentives. 4. Have Principals.)
- Sunk Cost Leverage: Make them invest.

SEWC 1.3: Love & Belonging
Target’s fear of isolation and loneliness. Target Needs Intimacy, trust, tribe, acceptance.
- Secret Exploitation: Use shared secrets as social leverage to prevent 2 target exit.
- Bypass Zero-Trust: Mimic the characteristics of "trusted" entrants to bypass the target's verification protocols.
- In-Group Manipulation: Manufacture a "chosen" status for the target to create exclusivity.
- Pre-Selection (FOMO): Signal high demand from other parties to trigger the target's competitive instinct to retain the operator.
- Elite Access: Sell future access to high-status aspirational groups.
SEWC 1.4: Esteem
The target's Ego and need for recognition. Respect, status, mastery. Validation Infiltration: Deploy strategic flattery. Allow the target to feel intellectually superior to lower their defensive guard.
SEWC 1.5: Self-Actualization
Target's boredom or desire for evolution. Target Needs Full potential, creative expression.
- The Mentor Trap: Frame the relationship as an educational or growth-oriented journey. Frame leaving as "quitting on themselves."

- Homour hits harder when it is executed naturally in speaking. Thas is as it becomes relevant to that current situation.
- "In -fire disasters that require DNA identifiaction of bodies an unsaid thing is that fathers are usually quietly asked not to participate in the DNA process unless they are the only parent availlable The reason is to avoid double tragedies of loss of child and discovery of paternity frauds The fact that this has become accepted means there is a widespread admission that paternity fraud is now a national disaster"
